Pre-owned Rolex Day-Date ref 18238 (1999) introduced the iconic Rolex Presidential to the Double Quickset, functions added to the caliber 3155 Perpetual movement that allow the wearer to adjust both the date and date displays with a quick twist of the crown, instead of advancing the crown a full 24-hour rotation. This convenient feature has since become a fixture of the Rolex catalog. Ref. 18238 was also one of the last all-gold 36mm models before Rolex introduced the 6-digit generation.
